Yes, our products are all-natural formulas that deliver the same results without the undesirable side effects of synthetic ingredients & products. Our products are GMO free, vegan safe, not formulated with parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances, PEGs, or PPGs, or DEA/TEA.

The ingredients in our formulas are plant-derived, and meet the high standards of premium retailers. We protect our products with preservative systems that meet rigid standards for natural, efficacy and safety and we use those preservatives well below maximum use levels for safety. 

We have rigid standards when designing our products to ensure they are safe and healthy. Our sun protection products are tested by third party labs to ensure UVA and UVB protection through broad spectrum and sun protection factor tests according to FDA regulations.

We use Zinc Oxide as the active ingredient because it offers excellent UVB and UVA rays protection - it is so effective that no other active ingredients are needed, as opposed to synthetic products that regularly need combinations of ingredients. Zinc Oxide is a mineral SPF, reef safe, identified as safe and GRASE by FDA. 

The ingredients in our SPF formulas are plant and mineral derived, GMO free, vegan safe, not formulated with parabens, phthalates, SLS, petrolatum, synthetic fragrances, PEGs, or PPGs, or DEA/TEA. We always check the ingredients in sites like EWG or COSMOS to ensure its safety. In fact our Sensitive Skin SPF was included in EWG Sunscreens list and gave us a green/safe 2 rating.

We are committed to making plant-derived, natural, and safe-for-you cosmetics. We only use natural essential oils for fragrance in our products. On each of our ingredient lists, we try to be fully transparent so you know exactly what is in our products - instead of saying "natural fragrance," we provide the full composition of the oils that we use. In our products, you will often find an uplifting mix of citrics (grapefruit, lemon, and orange) combined with mint and herbal notes from our exclusive Lippia alba essential oil plus a sophisticated blend of earthy, wood, spicy notes.

If you are super celiac or have allergies, you should always test any product on a small section of your skin to check for any reaction. If you have purchased any Thrive products and you do have an adverse reaction, please let us know and we will refund your purchase.

We use only gluten-free ingredients in all of our products but our final products are not certifed as "gluten free." We follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and do full sanitization of equipment when we make our products but there is a small risk of trace amounts of gluten remaining. So, we err on the side of suggesting caution and patch testing products for anyone who is sensitive to gluten.
